I hope you enjoy my pictures. These
are mostly done in KidPix studio.

This is a card I made for
Dad for Father’s Day 1997

I'm a Princess (1997)

Iceberg (1997)

Jungle (1997)

Imagine if I was a bear (1997)

Bugs (September 1998)

October 1998
This is a pencil and water colour picture of the Mona Lisa.
I’ve been experimenting with
different kinds of stuff, especially different ways I can use paints and brushes.
My Dad says I'm making excellent progress.
I did another painting of a vase of flowers and a portrait. When I showed my pictures
to my Dad, he said I discovered Impressionism and Cubism for myself in the same painting.
He was very excited. Dad showed me some art books. I love the Impressionists. Especially
Claude Monet. My Dad knows Jason Monet, Claude’s great nephew, who is also an artist
and sculptor. Dad says he’ll introduce me to him when they see each other next time.
As soon as we find that painting I’ll put it here. (I lost it.)
I want to be a children’s
book illustrator when I grow up. Mum and Dad keep telling me I need to be interested
in more than just art at school. My teacher gets annoyed because I tell her I don’t
need all that other stuff (especially maths!) to be an illustrator. Dad says I’m
wrong. Mum used to teach art and Dad used to teach graphic design, so I guess they
know more about it than me. But I still think the rest is boring.
I'll be putting up more pictures
soon. Thanks again for visiting.
